The
Jim Gannaway Collection

All Artifacts in this Collection were found along the coast of Alaska and St Lawrence Island on private lands. He acquired most of t his collection of artifacts between 1960 and 1990 through purchases from Alaskan First Nations. Do to health issues with Jim, he decided he needed to part with his collection of fine Alaskan material. He proceeded to shop his collection around to several people throughout the US and was unable to locate a perspective buyer willing to pay his price. I had made the highest offer close to his asking price and BC Artifacts purchased the collection in late September 2004. Jim had good taste and there are several very spectacular artifacts in the lot.
