#TMU1101- Very Rare Early Example of a Columbia River Decorated Stone Cloud Blower Pipe C/W Breather Hole
This well documented pipe was pictured in OAS Screenings volume 8 #3 in March of 1959. This unusual pipe form was found at a depth of 3 1/2 feet near the Railroad below the Maybe Site. It is made from smooth light brown shale and still has some traces of red ochre on it. The inside is blackened and the outside shows much wear with some of the carved lines nearly worn away and showing much use. Its 4 5/8" long and 1 7/8" in diameter at the bowl end. $2500.00 |
