#TGA-1- Gallamore Collection Fantastic 5 5/8" long G-10+ Early archaic Monterey Chert Stemmed Blade from Tulare Lake, California Heavy patina and extremely well made. It was personally found by Howard and Elveen Gallamore whom lived in Tulare Lake, California beginning in 1964 and whom surface hunted the Tulare Lake area themselves and with their children. According the Gallamores, Tulare Lake at the time was owned by several large farming conglomerates. In particular, the Gallamores had legal permission to hunt on the tracts of private land owned and operated by South Lake Farms – it is from this property that this museum quality artifact was found., Best example I have seen to date of this type Asking price is presently $4500.00 but I am accepting offers. |
